Garden

Garden

Our two-acre garden is well established, with mature trees and shrubs, rockery in a shady grove, and a walled garden being developed for vegetables.

We offer hospitality to a colony of honey bees, and keep some areas 'wild' to encourage wildlife.

In other areas, the garden is a bit 'wild' because there is a lot to keep up! so we welcome volunteers who might be willing to help on a regular or occasional basis - or even a one-off!

Accessibility

Many areas of the house and garden are wheelchair accessible.

We are pleased to be associated with the Quiet Garden Movement which:

nurtures access to outdoor space for prayer, reflection and rest in a variety of settings, such as private homes, churches, schools and hospitals, and creates opportunities for people to experience silence, restfulness and contemplative practices… Find out more
